Introduction / Summary (2018): Hello and welcome to our Sexuality pages. While this is not a pornographic site, it is provocative - founded upon what people search on the Internet (which is very interesting!). We then relate this to our biological and cultural evolution.
Sex is obviously important to people - and if you want to improve your sexual relationships then knowing the truth about our human evolution is the best foundation. By opening our minds to a greater diversity of behaviors, this knowledge will help you creatively cultivate healthy pleasurable moral attitudes and sexy smutty relationships (free from religious guilt & cultural myths).
Support an open honest discussion on the truth of our sexual evolution and behaviour. If you support sex positive, moral, informed sexual behaviour please share this knowledge. (These pages have a diverse collection of fascinating information relating to our human sexual evolution so people will appreciate it - see our 'nice letters' page!).
Sincerely, Karene.

Sex Related Internet Search Results
Introduction - We have collected data for the top 17,000 sex related search
terms on the Internet (below). These results suggest that there are
around 20 million sex related searches per day, which equates to about 5%
of total searches on the Internet. The purpose of gathering these
results is to enable a better understanding of our diverse human sexuality
by considering not only our biological and cultural evolution, but also
what we really find interesting based upon the number of searches.
Evolution tells us that sexual reproduction is central to our survival (obviously)
and that we are very complex creatures (given several billion years of evolution).
Further, human behaviour is determined by an interaction between our genetic
and cultural evolution and it is often difficult to differentiate between
these two factors. Thus trying to understand our 'true' sexual nature
and instincts vs. our cultural sexual conditioning is extremely difficult.
There have been several famous sex surveys conducted over the past 40 years
(e.g. Kinsey Report, Masters and Johnson, Hite Report) that have made some
progress, though they suffer from the same criticism of the validity of
their results, e.g. size of sample population, cultural and socioeconomic
factors, bias in formulating the questionnaires and honesty in answering
them! However, with the rapid evolution of the internet we now have a source
of sexual data (what people actually search) that does not suffer from the
above limitations. This research is a 'work in progress' and will not be
complete till mid 2007, though the search results alone are very interesting
and well worth browsing. (See also: Top

As a final point, this philosophy / physics website aims to present
the truth not just about our sexual nature, but about our very existence
as matter in space (where truth and reality are necessary foundations
for wisdom). Thus it is sobering to consider how few people search subjects
such as Truth (4,000), Reality (3,000), Physics (2,000), Philosophy (1,000),
Metaphysics (500), Truth and Reality (10). i.e. There are about 100 sex
related searches for every 1 science related search. While sex is
obviously important to us and our future survival, given the current state
of the world it is obvious that true knowledge of reality is also very important
for our future survival. (See links at top of page)
Warning! These sex search terms (below) contain extremely detailed sexual
language and behaviors that may offend some people.
We are very sorry but due to problems with the search engines we have had to remove these search results. We are corresponding with Google, Yahoo and MSN and hope to be able to put them back online soon. Karene (December, 2009)
