Instagram Profile - Karene (Sexual Evolution)

Introduction / Summary (2018): Hello and welcome to our Sexuality pages. While this is not a pornographic site, it is provocative - founded upon what people search on the Internet (which is very interesting!). We then relate this to our biological and cultural evolution.
Sex is obviously important to people - and if you want to improve your sexual relationships then knowing the truth about our human evolution is the best foundation. By opening our minds to a greater diversity of behaviors, this knowledge will help you creatively cultivate healthy pleasurable moral attitudes and sexy smutty relationships (free from religious guilt & cultural myths).
Support an open honest discussion on the truth of our sexual evolution and behaviour. If you support sex positive, moral, informed sexual behaviour please share this knowledge. (These pages have a diverse collection of fascinating information relating to our human sexual evolution so people will appreciate it - see our 'nice letters' page!).
Sincerely, Karene.

The Sexual Goddess & Tantra
Tantric Philosophy, Sex Positions, Unity of Mind, Body & Universe, Indian Goddesses, Pictures, Affirmations

The word 'tantra' is related to the concept of weaving and its derivatives (thread, web, fabric) hinting at the interwovenness of things and actions, the interdependence of all that exists, the continuity of in the interaction of cause and effect, as well as in spiritual and traditional development, which like a thread weaves its way through the fabric of history and individual lives. The scriptures which in Buddhism go under the name of Tantra (Tibetan: rg yud ) are invariably of a mystic nature, i.e. , trying to establish an inner relationship of things: the parallelism of microcosm and macrocosm, mind and universe, ritual and reality, the world of matter and the world of spirit. This is the essence of Tantrism.
(Lama Anagarika Govinda, Foundations of Tibetan Mysticism, 1969)

Philosophy of TantraTantra is an ancient Eastern philosophy. It is founded on the interconnection and unity of the universe. The human being does not exist in isolation, but is part of the One and is connected to all other matter in the universe.

The human body in Tantra is seen as a microcosm of the universe (all that exists in the universe, exists also in the human body). The path of enlightenment is through recognising our connection to the dynamic unity of reality.

What has this to do with sex?

To the uninitiated or curious, 'tantric sex' might conjure up thoughts of kinky positions and wild orgasms. A delightful shroud of exotic mystery covers this esoteric practice, much like the Kama Sutra.

Through the intimate connection of body and universe in Tantric thought, we can understand how sex and orgasm can be seen as a cosmic and divine experience. Sex may be used to heighten energy / consciousness / connection to the universe which can aid healing (peace, wholeness, power, bliss) and growth (self esteem).

Below you will find information on Tantric Sex and Healing. The Tantra Manual offers in depth techniques and positions for Tantric loving. Shama, a sacred sexuality counselor writes beautifully on the benefits of tantric sexual philosophy. I really admire her work at the

The Tantra Sex Manual: Orgasm, Foreplay, Positions

This wonderful website offers many details and techniques for enjoying tantric sex. I think women will really enjoy the attention paid to the female orgasm and movements which are pleasurable for both sexes. They also have information on requirements for a good partner, ejaculation control, contraception, foreplay, lovemaking positions, breathing techniques, staying fit and healthy and other useful tips for successful tantric love making. From the website:

Female Orgasm

Vintage Erotica Woman in kind of Religious Pose'The male partner should be able to let the female partner attain 4 to 6 times of orgasms during one session at ease. For a woman to attain full orgasm, it takes at least 20 minutes of foreplay and 20 to 30 minutes of penetration. Thus it takes more than 4 hours for 4 to 6 times of full orgasms.

A woman who attains a total orgasm enters a profound sleep like state for several minutes or longer after the orgasmic spasm. Soon after the orgasm, there is a point where the world becomes white and the awareness fades away rapidly or abruptly.

Basically, the male partner should not ejaculate before the female partner has attained orgasm at least twice. After that, ideally, he should ejaculate at the exact same moment as she comes.

Foreplay Techniques

1. The female partner should lie down on her back with legs stretched about shoulder width. Now, male partner places his palm on her pelvic bone with his three fingers covering over the clitoris and genital area, but do not put finger in her vagina.
Then press her for 3 to 5 seconds.
With the pressure, the female partner should push pelvic forward, tightening PC muscle and inner thigh, same time breath into the lung (or into the belly).
Next, the male partner soften the pressure gradually for 3 to 5 seconds.
At that time, she pulls pelvic back, releasing the tension of PC muscle and inner thigh, and also breathing out.
Preferably, she breaths out toward top of her head as if the air goes out from the summit of her head.

2. After continuing several minutes, observing the pleasure and the secretion of love, he starts stimulating clitoris with his tongue and both her nipples with his fingers.

The most important thing here is to synchronize the stimulation of clitoris by the tongue and the stimulation of nipples by the hands perfectly. She can feel maximum pleasure when these points (genitals and nipples) are stimulated in totally synchronized rhythm because there are energetic connections between genitals and breasts. As a rule of thumb, he should give her at least 20 minutes of foreplay including massage and caressing of entire body before penetration.

3. When she can't wait for the penetration, she should ask him about that and take one of body positions and technique for having orgasm mentioned in next section.

Sexual Intercourse Positions and General Tantra Rules

1. To attain orgasm, she should stretch out her both legs placing them apart about shoulder width or less. Never take position with legs bent. It is the face to face position with stretched legs.
2. When her orgasm is near, adhere firmly entire body against each other.
3. He should not breath rapidly even when she starts pushing and pulling her pelvis rapidly.
4. The most important thing for him is to 'receive steadily' her pelvic thrust keeping deep penetration and pressure of the genital contact using his body weight. And he should move his pelvis gently time to time. In other words, never move in and out carelessly.

The male partner should repeat 'receiving her pelvic thrust' and gentle movement alternately. And the movement should not exceed the rate of twice per second.
Ideally, it should be in a slow rate around once to twice per second.

5. And when she attains her orgasm, he should keep penetration but refrain from ejaculation while 'her orgasmic spasms finish and she becomes immobile'.

Also while she is making the spasms stretching her ankles for about a minute, he should continue to make gentle synchronized pelvic side glides and push-pulls. Avoid careless pelvic movements.'

Tantra Teaching, Sexual Energy & Sacred Sexuality Counseling

From the website: 'Tantra is a spiritual path of the heart and consciousness. A spiritual path is one where the focus of one’s attention is upon exploring the world through one’s relationship to self and others (expanding awareness).

Tantra is both a science and an art that originates from ancient knowledge in East India, Tibet, Egypt, and China. It is a spiritual path focusing on the power of our creative life force that we commonly refer to as sexual energy. Tantra offers techniques to enhance arousal and one's love making skills, as well as one's entire life, through a deeper understanding and mastery of our life force/libido.

Tantra is a form of yoga that offers a philosophy and practices showing how to generate, enhance and consciously direct life force energy that can awaken, arouse, enlighten, and heal the self and others. Tantra literally means weaving together the polarities of the male and female forces. Through tantric synergistic union, we create harmony and balance to all aspects of the human psyche, mind and body.

Through sacred sex, Tantra teaches fine and sophisticated arts of giving and receiving optimum pleasure for the self and partner - thereby achieving transcendence, or union with the divine, through sexual pleasure and extended orgasm. In orgasm we are truly in the moment - in the place of no mind through which we are the most receptive to our natural bliss - aligned with the high frequency of divine energy and enlightenment.'
